Each provider is corroborated across at least two INDEPENDENT sources (Google Business Profile/Maps, BBB, state licensing board, structural-mover association, local chamber, press), the company's own website and lead-broker aggregators (Angi, Houzz, Thumbtack, HomeAdvisor) do NOT count toward the two. Google ratings pulled via the Serper Places API. Texas has no statewide general-contractor license, so stateLicense is legitimately null for most Texas firms; BBB accreditation and TASM membership are the trust anchors there. Louisiana licenses contractors through the LSLBC, so a state license number is captured where verifiable. No credential, license number, principal name, or review figure was invented, unverifiable fields are null with an editorial note. Providers flagged fatally (accreditation suspended, under 6 months old, self-described lead-generation front, or a perfect rating with zero credential trail) were excluded and are listed in the methodology, not the roster.
